Bio

I have always been a builder ,even when I was young. I began making stained glass windows and cur glass light catchers  about 35 years ago. One day in a tile store I was captured by the beauty of the granite and other natural stone. In particular a granite that reminded me so much of the skin on a freshly landed trout. I decided to try to recreate the trout image with stone and my art has progressed from there.
Now I create images of nature in stone that mimics the colors and texture of my subjects.
Some of my favorite subjects are the natural stone arches and monuments seen throughout the west, they are particularly dramatic when portrayed in stone.
Another aspect of my art that it can be displayed outdoors in your outdoor living spaces all year round. They are radiant in the direct sunlight.
